Denim shorts are a summer staple for alot of people and most definitely me. They’re easy to throw on, pretty much guaranteed to look good (unless your bum cheeks are hanging out which we all know is a big fat no-no) and only get better with age. Frame Denim jeans, a recent discovery, are made with old-school quality denim. They do have a 1% lycra woven into them but they’re in the heavy-weight league – thick, lush denim is the name of their game and I’m a fan. A big fan. They’re the quality of 90’s Levis. These shorts are named ‘Le Cutoff’ for fairly obvious reasons and they’re the perfect blue for blue denim – its named ‘Richland’. A blue thats not too warm, not too cold, not too light and not too dark – maybe they should have been named the Goldilocks Shorts.
I bought mine for my holiday next week. In no more than 6 sleeps, we’ll be cruising over the Channel to St Malo and driving down South for our first stop off on Ile De Re………
