Edit / Affordable Summertime Sandals
I have expensive taste but that’s as far as it goes – when it comes to parting with pennies on certain items, most of the time, I opt for a high street choice. Bags are a little different – they can be more of an investment if they’re looked after like a precious baby, but shoes, when worn most days, can get wrecked in a matter of hours depending on their fragility, their heel and the type of ground you’re walking on – scratched and scraped heels that look like some one attacked them with a potato peeler are unsightly and often heart-breaking, especially when you’re out on your first glorious outing with Jimmy Choo-clad feet and your heel goes into a hole and comes out looking battered and bruised (this happens to the best of us). An expensive pair of shoes is a treat, definitely not a no-no, but for me, everyday shoes are affordable but good quality. I bought the Topshop Fairy Gladiator Sandals over the weekend however the rest of these sandals were options I was also considering, especially these Swedish Hasbeens Tutti Frutti Sandals. Oh, and some of these are on sale now, at really low prices and with all these sandals made from leather, they’re exceptional value, so if you need a pair, click now or forever hold your peace.
