For the last few nights, pre and post-Tough Mudder (we completed it and loved it) we’ve been glued to Sky Atlantic watching ‘The Tunnel‘. Nothing else has existed. If you saw The Bridge, then you may know this is the English/French version of this TV series. I didn’t see The Bridge, so The Tunnel was refreshing to watch, to say the least. With so much mundane rubbish broadcast our way, watching something original, which makes you never want to leave your front room and never want it to come to an end, but of course all good things do. Except, however, Clémence Poésy’s style. Along with Kate Bosworth, my other personal favourite, Clémence can wear anything. A grey sloppy jumper with grey jeans, jeans and a t-shirt and she will look amazing. This is for a number of reasons. 1) She is incredibly beautiful 2) She can get away with murder because she has GOOD hair 3) She’s French therefore already blessed with effortless style 4) She doesn’t try too hard. I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve said those words. Thats because all the stylish people in this world don’t try too hard. They’re natural, relaxed, comfortable in whatever they wear, in many cases, they don’t actually realise how good they look. False eyelashes and fake tan are nothing but words to the natural beauties of this world. I know we’re not all blessed in this way but gilding the lily (as I was constantly told growing up) is not necessary.

Anyway, I digress. This is about Clémence’s style, who notoriously will only dress comfortably. That’s her style and its pretty much perfect.

Watch a short film of Clémence talking about her style here.
