I know what you’re thinking. What a clever use of alliteration. What an exceptional use of English grammar. Yep, that’s me. Clever and exceptional. Not at English grammar though, no. At shoe shopping, perhaps. I feel I’m developing a minor problem which I’m not worrying about just yet, however, there may be some cause for concern a little further down the line.

Whilst hunting these beauties out to write a post about footwear choices for Autumn/Winter, which is creeping upon us rather swiftly already, I found myself, as I frequently do, making a long mental list of Alexander Wang shoes, see Exhibit four above, working out ways and financial methods to do my best to own every single pair. They literally make me do a little internal squeal, make me shiver, make me shake and cause quite a frenzy of immature excitement. Which is how I came to the conclusion there may be trouble ahead.

So, what shoes to wear for Autumn/Winter? Well. Personally, I struggle with knee high boots. Riding boots I can wear, but I still have a little trouble disagreeing with myself over not wearing a heel. But then putting on a pair of knee high boots with a heel makes me feel a bit funny.  A bit trussed up. A bit mutton-dressed-as-lamb, if you know what I mean. I probably just haven’t found the right pair. Apart from these fancy tasselled L.K Bennett pair, shown as exhibit three.

These Rockport Leopard Print ‘Shooties’, exhibit five, give me goosebumps. I love the round toe. I love the heel shape. I love the little piped-trim section, adding a little extra edge. I certainly need these in my wardrobe.

Exhibit two, 3.1 Phillip Lim Oxford Pumps will look ultra-sublime with a black leather pencil skirt and thick black opaque tights. Yes. I die*

*Rachel Zoeism (if you don’t know what this means, then shame on you)
