Mulberry A/W 2012 Ad Campaign
I’m rather late with this one, but I’m loving the latest Mulberry Ad Campaign for Autumn/Winter 2012 shot by British Photographer, Tim Walker. I first saw it in Octobers edition of British Vogue (exactly, I’m so out of touch) and instantly loved the cleverness of it. Its based on the children’s classic book ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ and features Lindsay Wixon (who I’ve noticed recently is smiling in lots of her photos – always a good thing. Oh, and she’s literally everywhere too. It’s quite likely her heart shaped lips are her U.S.P ) getting comfortable with a big friendly hairy monster in Blackheath Forest near Albury in Surrey, which is, of course, in England. And with Emma Hill as creative director, well, quite frankly, she’s doing a very good job with their advertising, if you ask me. After the oversized ice-creams and sticks of rock tempting us with bright candy pastels in front of Brighton Pier for the Spring/Summer 2012 campaign, this latest campaign is a wild contrast, perfect for our approaching Autumn. Totally British and totally brilliant.
