What Would I Wear…To London Fashion Week?
Yesterday saw the first day of London Fashion Week, where our British rooted designers show us what they’ve been working on for Autumn Winter 2012. It’s the second chapter of fashion month, the first taking place in New York and the next taking place in Milan, ending in Paris.
I’m not going to London Fashion Week. However, if I were, this is what I would happily wear. I’d say from what I’ve read that two pairs of shoes are essential, one pair of heels, one pair of flats, with the flat shoes ensuring a swift sprint between locations of shows. Which is why I picked this beautiful Vanessa Bruno bag. Not only does it stand out for its intricately cut-out detail and is the perfect splash of orange, it should fit this classy pair of metallic-heeled Miu Miu brogues, ready for when a change of shoe is necessary. The beautiful floaty and vibrant Issa dress contrasts perfectly with the python-effect leather biker jacket. The graceful folds of the full silk skirt of the dress mixed up with the rugged jacket portray a tough, thrown-together-didn’t-try-too-hard look that I love. And for those of you who, like myself, didn’t go, the ribboned-key below is the invitation to the Mulberry A/W 2012 show. I wonder what the secret is…..
