Practical dressing has never been my forte, probably because I don’t like dressing practically. Case in point, a walk over the weekend over the fields and through the woods with my children. I don’t have any welly boots, perhaps I should get some. So, this weekend, I walked through cow-pat studded fields in my brogues. What a choice of shoe. They were sturdy enough and stood the test well, but not ‘ready’ for a cow-type emergency. (By the way, my little girl asked me to hold this stick because it would look good. How could I not oblige?)
