Leather is a big trend for Autumn/Winter 2012 and I am obsessed. Its such a wearable fabric, whatever the weather. Leather shorts with a baggy breton t-shirt and a pair of Espadrilles for a laid back summer look, or a tight fitting black leather pencil skirt with thick black tights and leopard print platform sandals for winter make this luxurious texture the perfect trans-seasonal piece.
These silver trousers may look a little daunting, but worn with a loose sheer white shirt and simple black strappy sandals, such as these Miu Miu ones would look pretty awesome, I’m sure. I’d give them a try..never say never and all that.
I came across The Fold recently and was quite taken by this navy leather dress. The fact its navy makes it all the more amazing, and those leather panels will do wonders for eye-trickery in the slimming department. And worn with these Givenchy Animal Print Calf-Hair sandals and a black faux fur shrug, this would be a super-sexy London Fashion Week outfit I’d die for.
