Get the garcon chic look : Emmanuelle Alt

Image via Vogue
Editor of Vogue Paris since February 2011, Emmanuelle Alt is, frankly, a fashion of God-like proportions. She makes up the super-league of stylists and fashion editors of the fantasy-fashion team, along with Carine Roitfeld and Jane How. She epitomises the French woman- no fuss, simplicity, stripped back, soap and water. Known for wearing no make-up and against having her hair styled, Emmanuelle Alt embraces garcon chic, and its likely she won’t even know she’s doing it. And for this reason, her look is very easy to reproduce. A white t-shirt, a black or white tuxedo blazer (not a regular blazer, it must be a tuxedo blazer, for long lines), a black leather blazer or biker jacket with a fur gilet worn over the top. Sling on a pair of black skinny jeans and an obscenely high black shoe, leave the bag at home et voila!
